Sure. But don't be surprised that people start questioning why only certain protests are acceptable to the medical "experts"

It will probably get moved somewhere else which is the current "compromise" being suggested but I doubt the people upset about it let that happen. They will want it destroyed completely. Being in front of the courthouse isn't the best place for it I understand.

I wasn't intending to be exclusive with my language. With that said, I would actually disagree with you. Took a while for the Federalists to be proven right in their opposition to the inclusion of the Bill of Rights. Though, I'll certainly concede that the end of the Lochner era was the final death knell of that argument.

Yeah, I mean...it’s one of the more egregious Civil War glorifying statues. I just remember back when NOLA took down statues, people in LC wanted Contraband Bayou renamed bc they said it was racist...then I’d drive by this statue and be surprised it wasn’t being protested.

Yea the beaches in LC suck. That wasn't the point. They also shut down other festivities and made businesses operate at a reduced capacity. Many are struggling and 400 people are laid off just from LDL alone.
The fire marshall even went to Golden Nugget and to make sure they weren't over their restricted limits.

People protesting shut downs were almost unanimously admonished by the medical experts. The same people then came out and supported BLM protests. That level of hypocrisy is alarming.

The ones that did were arrested. The salon owner, the mom in the park, etc but BLM with constant gatherings is OK and encouraged.

really not sure why cant acknowledge that the protests have merit while also recognizing that they pose risk.
