shite, I would. Looking to make my way to Texas.

ETA: Sorry about the situation, OP. I hope you will bounce back. I was in an almost similar position. Got the option to be laid off or go back into the shop. Couldn't afford to not make any money. Went to the shop for 2-3 weeks then they brought me back inside. Weird situation.

From my experience, a company is much more inclined to hire a local candidate than one that needs to relocate.

This kind of sucks as I would drop everything and move instantly if offered for a certain type of job.

I know it's going to be tough but don't let it ruin you and your family's Christmas. Enjoy the holidays as best as you can and soon you'll find a new and even better job! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

For a lot of places its true though. I have a Sports Management degree, and out of college I had two interviews with the Zephyrs. It was for a ticket sales job. Just something to get me in the door, and they loved me, and they knew I was willing to move ASAP as soon as I got hired, but they didnt offer me the job because I lived in Georgia at the time.

Brave one.

I was in the sports industry. Had a couple internships with the Pelicans. Struggled with over the phone sales so I didn't pursue sales. Much prefer being face to face with people, but my phone skills have developed since then.

I’ve got 10 openings to fill in Dallas right now. It’s entry level and starts at roughly 43k a year. Won’t make you an OT baller by 2019 but it’s a job.

For 43K I don’t give a shite. Much better than the $0 income right now.

You got a link or somewhere for me to apply
