You have to pour about 2-3 tablespoons of HP down her throat. Period.

Yes, she will puke. If the 2-3 doesn’t work, do 1 more tablespoon at a time until it happens.

I’ve had to do it to my dog twice for eating huge random mushrooms.

My 5lb Chihuahua ate an entire bag of M&M's one time and was fine.

Damn thing is like a garbage disposal.

Push the peroxide down the dogs throat with a large syringe. I kept one handy after my dog ate rat poison.

I can’t think of anything dumber than trying to stick your fingers in a dogs mouth to make them puke...if you do, pleasevideo.

"Yes, chocolate is toxic to dogs (and cats!). While rarely fatal, chocolate ingestion can result in significant illness. Chocolate is toxic because it contains a chemical called theobromine, as well as caffeine. ... Dogs cannot metabolize theobromine and caffeine as well as people can."

As a person who has owned two labs that have gotten into just about anything you can imagine, I'd say to wait it out that she will probably be fine. She might puke on her own anyway. I wouldn't go out of my way to make her puke.

Its the caffeine in chocolate that is the problem. The sugar alone should make her shite. Keep water handy for her for hydration.

1 ounce of chocolate per pound of dog is about the rate at which symptoms begin to appear.
So the dog would have had to eat roughly 60-70 oz of chocolate. I'm gonna venture to say that there wasn't that much in 12 pieces of the OP's fudge. And if there is that much, I'd like a piece.

I had an 11 month old chocolate lab, 90 lbs., that got on the counter and grabbed a giant Hershey bar. She ate all of it but never felt bad or missed a beat.

The darker the chocolate, the worse for dogs.

She's fine. Takes a lot of chocolate to kill a big dog.

A couple of years ago, my German Shepherd ate a whole bag of chocolate covered expresso beans. I was asleep so didn't know he ate them until later. Little shithead.

Depends on the form.

To use alcohol as a reference, milk chocolate is Budweiser. Dark chocolate is wine. Bakers chocolate is hard liquor.
