Have any of you ever successfully used the LA Wallet to show their drivers license?
Seems convenient especially if ones wallet is left at home.

It works most of the time in La, but I’ve been turned away numerous places such as casinos, breweries, etc which don’t except e-licenses

Same. He accepted my digital license and insurance card. I still carry a wallet though. I have about 5 other cards that I carry in addition to occasionally a little cash.

My daughter came with me to the shooting range and used it to register there with no problems

I have the La Wallet but haven’t used it. About 3 years ago I had an expired insurance card in my car so I pulled up the digital card in my Allstate app and the cop accepted it. No questions asked.

Used in in LA with no problem but couldn’t buy beer in Alabama. Go figure. For the record I am over 50 and look every year of it.

Yes in Louisiana. Tried to use it to get on a flight though and they wouldn't allow it. Had to show my real license.

The one time I tried to use it when buying alcohol they wouldn’t expect it. I’m also 51 years old so I told the dipshit do I look under 21.

Yes, but you may be turned away by stores that have to scan your license before selling alcohol or tobacco. Not because they think it’s fake but because their procedure is to scan every license.

I was about to say this. It shows same hash as the one that's on the back of the license.
It has be scanned to load the license into the app.
