Well friend, it’s easy to believe what you actually get to witness
You witness "thousands" of people work 4,000+ hours a year in Louisiana alone?

you say I am lying,
I don't know if you are lying or not, but I do know you're an idiot.

Nothing will change that
Correct

Don’t know what anyone expects. It certainly can’t be fiscally responsible decisions.
LA has had a culture of OT padding over the years in their public service departments. Its corrupt to the core.
Their police departments in particular have major problems.

so let’s just agree to call me right
Nah.
Your claim is that there are several nurses just in your system that worked 6 shifts a week for an entire year. You aren't right. I've got a couple big blue nurses that already said no chance for an entire year

They agency nurses? They work in auditing the agency hours?
Look lnch, you have three choices
1. You outright call me a liar-option 1
2. You call me correct-option 2
3. You say these nurses gamed the time keeping system and Kronos-option 3
I mean all 3 are in play for you
Also side note, pretty sure I saw you at a parent function at your kids school…..

You're a liar. That was easy.

You do which is sad.

I'll take a little of both of these.

That’s what makes message boards great. You potentially have someone who directly works and sees information, but another poster just says “nah, duck that” and rolls with his own opinion and possibly even gets support
That’s why I keep coming back

Janet Yellon directly saw inflation for months and is an Ivey League PhD. That doesn't make her right.
Simple math makes what you are saying practically impossible. I don't need some intricate formula to figure that out.

Yea, I have zero clue about how Ochsner cuts shifts that have bonuses and OT attached to them when things slow down. I also have zero clue about the toll 6 shifts a week for 52 straight weeks would take on the human body. I have zero clue about how agency contracts work. I have zero clue about any of it.
I just called you full of shite because it sounded fun.
Posted on 6/1/22 at 12:09 pm to Mingo Was His NameO
I honestly can’t fathom someone thinking working 80 hours a week if “practically impossible”
You just think some farmers and shite are ducking super human creations

It's not the single week that is "practically impossible."
It's 80 hours week for 52 straight weeks of floor nursing.

It’s just funny being on this end. I no doubt have likely argued with someone who 100% knew and had experience with what they were talking about, but my message board bravado had me carry on anyone because I’m a little prick that “always knows”, just like you
But when you are on the other end with actual tangible experience, it’s just humorous
Posted on 6/1/22 at 12:12 pm to LSU in the hizzle
They're including benefits but then calling it paycheck and take home pay. More media disinformation.

You've been wrong about stuff Ochsner nurses were going through before, so not sure your "tangible experience" means as much as you think it does.

yea, hes probably giving himself overtime for a couple of years to pad his retirment pay.
He'll probably make 400K+ for 30+ years "retired".
per the article-
Lifeguards work all year round and can retire at the age of 55 with 79% of their pay.
So yeah he's going to be making 400K for the next 30 years

quote:And ylu think that’s harder than people who work two jobs, or people who run businesses and that stress? Or farmers who work around the clock? Or residents who really get fricked because they are pulling these hospital hours and not getting paid dick for it
It's 80 hours week for 52 straight weeks of floor nursing.
I could go on, but there are many Americans who put these hours in out of necessity or the chase of the dollar.

You don't know anyone that has worked 6 days a week, every single week for the last year

What does any of this have to do with your asinine assertation?
