Well that’s irrelevant too. Students can’t fail anymore and the grading scale is chickenshit.

How the frick is an 80/100 still a B?

LSU. Admitted. Tops only. Your kid was admitted with Tops. Translation: Your kid was not denied any opportunity.

TBoy you are being willfully obtuse and you know it.

Sad.

Total bull shite! A 4.0 at Jesuit is not a 4.0 from Tara High in Baton Rouge. The ACT or SAT is the same for everyone. These tests are needed now more than ever

Exactly. Only Louisiana’s dumbest of the dumb don’t get accepted in LSU right now. They took over 8k in the freshman class.

Last year’s 2024 freshman class had an average ACT of 27 and the 2023 freshman class had over a 26. I have no idea what this 2025 class averaged? If they didn’t even require an ACT that’s concerning.

I can't speak to LSU specifically, but most colleges are going to weight a 4.0 from Choate or Phillips a lot higher than a 4.0 from a public school in buttfrick, Mississippi. This isn't even considering weighted vs unweighted GPA, a weighted 4.0 would be rather weak in the grand scheme. Admissions officers usually take all of that into account.

Big story here is that the Commissioner of Higher Education included in the executive budget an objective that clearly discriminates against White and Asian students. Were White and Asian students not provided assistive programs that “underrepresented minorities” were privy to for the past five years?

Is this cause for a class action civil rights law suit?

Objective in question:

BS. If your kid can’t get into LSU, there are several other Louisiana colleges available. A college education is available. This “white kid is entitled to get in or entitled to a full ride” BS is whining by parents whose kids obviously didn’t do all of their homework but expect to be called “gifted.”

If Braxton can’t get into any public college in Louisiana, then Braxton shouldn’t go to college.

Again, missing the point that the Commissioner and Board of Regents intentionally funded an objective that clearly discriminates against White and Asian students. What beneficial programs were provided to “underrepresented minorities” in order to achieve this objective?

And now we notice that Asians students didn’t collectively get the results they were looking for after the affirmative action ruling. Some universities saw a drop in Asian enrollment for freshmen following the ruling.

Possibly. AFAIK Wygant would be the controlling SCOTUS case.

Wygant sets up a 2 part test for governmental affirmative action:

1. The racial classification has to have a compelling state interest

2. The methods have to be narrowly tailored for purpose

Strict scrutiny is to be applied to race-based classifications and requires "strong basis in evidence" that such remedial action is necessary.

It is difficult to apply the test without full facts about how the program worked and the reasoning behind it.

The one child denied from LSU: Blessing in disguise. Sounds like they need to go JUCO.

For the one pursuing their masters in music, that's probably more of an issue with LSU prioritizing out of state students. The School of Music is notorious for this.

Also, if OP is not an alter. Instead of riling up the OT. Contact the AGs office. AG Murrell lives for this shite.

Really just white kids, they just pick between 500k Asians with perfect scores because they rarely become millionaires or billionaires and give millions back to the school

So, you or your crumb snatchers were too dumb to qualify to eat crayons? Is that your excuse for not enlisting? I know the General/Admiral class put in office in Obama and Biden times sucked arse, but are you really so slow (which should be a qualifier) to think that your family didn't qualify because of race?
