To show how fast it all happened. From the time Kyle was saying "Friendly, friendly" to the time he approached the police was less than three minutes.
The prosecution is trying to stretch it out and make it seem like Kyle had forever to make decisions, and that his shots were calculated.
This witness is blowing that apart. Until today, no one has focused on the fact the whole thing happened so fast.

The defense brought the point up when the judge was excoriating that Binger prick yesterday for his actions during his cross examination of Rittenhouse. It was only a matter of time before they would go through the timeline with the jury present to impugn the prosecution's implications that Rittenhouse's actions were calculated, thought out, and methodical.
