Odds are they tithe, so they won't have much more disposable income.

The same way I feel about the idiots who throw their money at televangelists and the ones who defend guilty thugs....There are millions of fools out there.

Yes. The general public sure is enamored with attention whores. They can't help themselves.

Judge got in 100% right. She took an oath and is willfully and intentionally violating it, on top of a court order. If doing her job makes her violate her religious beliefs, then by all means quit.

She should probably be fired for refusing to perform her job's duties. I don't know about throwing her in jail.

Unfortunately, the only way she can be removed is by impeachment.

She won't have to. After all of this she won't have to worry about money ever again.

She couldn't simply resign? Hell, even Nixon was allowed to resign before full blown impeachment could take him down.

Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's

Work for the government? Perform your government function. Work for a church? Perform in the appropriate manner.

That's what I don't understand. Separation of church and state. If she knew this was going to conflict with her beliefs, why wouldn't she resign? I wouldn't volunteer ("run") for a position if the duties were against what I stood for...

Then she should be fired or held in contempt

I don't think she will make a ton of money, not if the gays play it right.

Sue her for all the is worth. If she has to spend any donated money by paying her civil lawsuits then she isn't keeping the money AND the donations from the other bigots goes to the gays. Even better.

If she is ever tried criminally, they can also forbid her from making a profit.

KY Legislature doesn't meet until January, so unless she was going to resign, this would have carried on for a long time.

Im sure she can, but if her conscience let her go to jail, no way her conscience will let her resign.
