It was about 10:30 pm on 8 August when Barker, an acquaintance of the family, lured the girl away from her home, police said. He was her friend's dad, the Associated Press reported. And the girl trusted Barker - she even recognised the sound of his vehicle, Wyffels said. Barker asked the girl to help talk to his son, who was not behaving, according to a criminal complaint cited by the Star Tribune. She agreed to go with him, and followed him into his car, leaving her cell phone behind.
This is the scariest part... She trusted this piece of shite, this is how it all started...
How scummy is this guy, she was a friend of his daughter... Of his DAUGHTER...!

they should suffer like she did.
Those fricked deserve to die. They probably won't get life sentences without possibility of parole. So, they'll probably be able to get out.
frick those POS.

Because we have a justice system for situations like this. The comments here are an example of mob rule.
In the eyes of the law these men are innocent at the moment, and cops shouldn't just murder innocent people.
Cops enforce the law. They are not judges, nor executioners.

Given our legal system, they will never see any sentence equivalent to the crimes they committed.

I'm not going to try an indite this young girl because she is a victim and very young, but I watch lots of shows on I.D. and one thing is obviously clear from those programs, women are too trusting and afraid to say no. Both of these things get them into numerous bad situations and often, leads to their deaths. Too many times, they are more worried about offending someone by telling them no than their own safety.
She should have never gone with that adult man anywhere in the first place. And especially, not at 10:30 pm!

we absolutely need eye for an eye punishment in our criminal justice system for crimes like this.
Nothing short of slow and excruciating torture is justice for these scum.
In all reality, they should be given the death penalty, but they won't even get that.

These guys are perfect candidates for my rape/execution machine. It would be aired live to show others not to do bad shite.

A friend of her dad. She thought she was helping his son, I can't blame her for trying to help.

Mobile homes should be inspected by the sheriff on a monthly basis. Every time there is an issue like this it occurred at a mobile home and I will go one step further and say that nothing good happens in a mobile home.

Apparently one came by the rape trailer uninvited and discovered the girl. He continued to hang out there and never called for help, but never did anything to her.
Just as guilty, imo

This is 100% not her fault.
