30s have not been kind to Brit.
She made $34 million last year and looks better than vast majority of mid-30s mothers. I'd say she is doing just fine in her 30s.
Most 36 year olds with kids don't look like this in a bikini:

Correct. In those cases, it would be completely ridiculous to say she should only get the benefits of necessity in divorce
Why are you guys even arguing this? Kfed didn't stay at home, quite the opposite. Kfed did the absolute best with his talents he could have by working as a dancer for Spears. He basically tapped his income fully with her. She not only did not limit his income, she enhanced it.

You're missing the "at her level" part of the equation.
I acknowledge that there will be some consideration given to equalizing living conditions of the children, but there are limits on that and at $20k/month I think those limits are starting to be tested.

I mean I get that. Just don't think it's smart to be so dependent on one spouses income like in that example. At least have the backup plan like if the husband loses his job.

I know. I'm just saying I wouldn't feel bad for the girl. Or guy if it were the opposite situation.

Wife is now supposed to have to live simply a conformable life?
She'll get spousal support for 3-5 years. During that time she better get her shite together.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement
A woman or man gives up their career to raise a family as part of a team ,and then through divorce is screwed by this
Posted on 3/20/18 at 2:06 pm to DavidTheGnome
Because that’s the law for when a rich man divorces a woman who doesn’t have money. Equality is a bitch huh

I'm usually against this sort of crap, but with so many great men being destroyed by gold digging bitches, lets give at least one to our team for once. I'm rooting this deadbeat dad on.

I’ll call a spade a spade and say that this is an entirely stupid case. I put this on par with Michael Strahan’s divorce where his ex wanted an insane amount because she loved to dress up his twin girls in Prada regularly. As toddlers. Child support should be about the care and maintenance of the children, not equalizing the home environments by docking the breadwinner to support the leach, regardless of genders involved.
Teke,
You are 100% right. But if these sexes were reversed there would be a huge outcry about a scumbag dad not supporting his ex and their children. This is just equality coming home to roost

Which is why we should use the example to point out the absurdity of it, not as a vindictive victory for 'the team'.

Absolutely agree.
But there is a social circle of women whom have never ever had a job and literally live off divorce filings. For frick’s sake there are tv series, not single shows or documentaries but full blown fricking series, about them.
I recently read an article about rich and powerful bread winning women in New York being taken to the cleaners by their husbands through divorce as the social stigma of not being the male provider declines. These rich and powerful women are flabbergasted and blindsided about how expensive divorcing a stay at home spouse or lesser earning can be with all of the punitive laws in Place.
Civil laws should not be vindictive or punitive, but divorce lawyers have made them so and for the past 30 years women have been bending men over a barrel.
Hopefully men and women alike will look at cases like this and realize the insanity of it all.
tl:dr - This is what men are used to. Change the laws back to common sense and end the absurdity

This is why big time pop stars shouldn't get themselves pregnant by trashy douchebag backup dancers. I would've taken half that amount for child support if she'd given me the chance to knock her up.
