Keurig recently launched a new line of “K Elite” brewers that have a “strong” option for brewing. This basically means the water flow is slower than normal resulting in a stronger brew. This seems like a win for some of the posters in the thread. LINK Keurig is super convenient so I appreciate it for that purpose. It is also easier for me to switch types of coffees since I can have variety packs much easier than grounds. French press is my go to method if I want the smoothest, best taste but I don’t want to take the time and clean it up at that moment. There are tons of licensing agreements for Kcups...buy a variety pack and find one you prefer. It may not be the brand you like making drip coffee but I know some folks are CC loyalists in LA.
All of this.
I can be a coffee snob, use a French press, I've roasted my own before. Get the right K-cups and it's still pretty good, and allows people to brew what they'd like to drink.
New Orleans Roast Dark Roast k-cups are really good. I use their ground in my Keurig at home, and the k-cups in the machine at work for me and my patrons.

The best you’ll have is with an electric percolator ! Not a fast drip like bunn but one that percolates.

One problem is that everyone tried to make the "larger" cup of the 3 size choices.
Lower the size and it absolutely improves the quality.

Yep. And when one dude in my office makes a pod of Earl Grey, the next three coffees taste like bergamot.
Also, Keurig is probably to blame for liberal low T with all that hot plastic.
Fun Fact: Keurig loses money on the machines and considers it an investment to driving pod consumption

I only use mine for hot water instant grits. I’m the a-hole that prefers bitter burnt gas station style coffee

V60 pour over is still the best.

Maybe I’m not sophisticated enough when it comes to coffee but it tastes the exact same to me

Should be illegal. Worst shite ever. May as well run mulch through the coffee maker.

This the main reason we got the Keurig. I like chickory. The wife likes warm water with a tan. With the Keurig, each of us gets what we like.
Also, my wife never figured out how to brew just a small pot. When she used to make coffee in a pot, we always threw 75% away.
Keurig actually saves money.

Disagree...got one, like my coffee and it safes me $$$. I get up EARLY for work and do not have time to drink a "pot" of coffee. I make a single cup with my Keurig and blast out the door. World Market..French Roast...damn good.
