Keurig recently launched a new line of “K Elite” brewers that have a “strong” option for brewing. This basically means the water flow is slower than normal resulting in a stronger brew. This seems like a win for some of the posters in the thread.

Keurig is super convenient so I appreciate it for that purpose. It is also easier for me to switch types of coffees since I can have variety packs much easier than grounds.
French press is my go to method if I want the smoothest, best taste but I don’t want to take the time and clean it up at that moment.
There are tons of licensing agreements for Kcups...buy a variety pack and find one you prefer. It may not be the brand you like making drip coffee but I know some folks are CC loyalists in LA.

I use mine for tea. Makes a good English Breakfast tea.
Do you know if the reusable pods would work for tea as well?

Sold my Keurig and bought a Ninja. Much better brew.

Worst part about the machine is it’s impossible to clean. And in an office setting being used 50 times a day that thing will get nasty quickly. No one is going to clean it like it should be.
I keep a French press at my desk. Life is too short to drink shitty moldy coffee.

I bought a Kuerig specifically because I usually make terrible coffee.
Plus I never drink an entire pot.
No complaints from me.

The cups don't have as much caffeine and single serve coffee makers with cups or similar inserts are hard to clean or can go without proper cleaning in a public setting. They will become filled with mold like a fish tank

Workplace just switched from brewed pots of coffee to a single Keurig make for everyone to share. They bought “pods” of the exact coffee we were using and the coffee I liked tastes terrible out of a Keurig.
Yes they are pieces of shi t...

Coffee and vodka are two things I don't understand how others care about the brand or maker so much....
Where I will spend way too much on coffee, but refuse to buy a car over 30k.

Keurig is not very good. I have never like them. You have a lot of options and they are all inferior to the coffee from a cheap coffee pot.

If you are looking for a fairly inexpensive single cup coffee maker that uses regular grounds, the Black and Decker Brew n Go is hard to beat. It uses a reusable mesh filter and It's about $22 on Amazon.

This. I got one two years ago and my Vertuoline has been collecting dust. Can brew a seriously strong cup of coffee with none of the acid of a drip brewer or the crappy plastic taste of Keureg.
