Its fricking selfish greediness.
No one wants to be the person responsible to spend 1 min to brew everyones coffee.
So 10 people each spend 1 min each brewing their own single cup of crap coffee.
I make a pot everyday, no one buys the coffee, no one cleans up the pot, everyone leaves barely an ounce left in the pot so that they aren't the one to clean up.
As shitty as their behavior is, it doesn't cost me more(kcup more $ than grinds) or make me spend more time, except maybe rinsing out the pot and filter at lunch.

Keurig is basically Sanka instant roast coffee. Anybody who says that's as good as a cup of brewed coffee is a retard. That's like saying a hamburger patty from McDonald's is as good as a steak from the grill.

Not only that but you can also use it to make the perfect cup of tea as the water is always the exact brewing temperature and it just uses water displacement so you can make one cup or 12 cups. Just fill your favorite mug with water, pour in the top and receive perfect Brew-temp water at the bottom. Dump your tea bag in. Done.
It's also great for anything else you need hot water for. For example, I use it to pre dissolve CaSO4 for my fish tank.
