For a website that talks shite about Paige Spiranac being too fat and having a horse face, amongst other dime pieces, ya'll have quite the lecherous gaze for this fat, washed up bowl of half-eaten country gravy. It is astoundingly bizarre.

I was watching something on youtube last night about the music industry. It was saying, before streaming, the artist only made about $0.10 on each CD sold. They used TLC as an example and between the 3 of them, on their biggest album, they only made about $300k each.
They showed an interview with one of the girls. A more current interview. And she was saying that while there are people who probably think getting $300k is still decent money, she was saying in the 90s she was able to buy a decent house, but you are not getting paid when working on the next album so she had to live off the rest and hope the next album..
Anyway, the whole thing was about how music artist don't make that much off the albums alone. The money is made on tour which might be a reason you don't see many bands or groups today. Anyway, it mentioned something that made me think about Britney Spears. Its a pretty ruthless industry. Major labels want to get the artist one or two best albums, but in terms of how this is related to Britney.. I think she might have likely had some type of mental illness that was controlled but the music industry pushed her over the edge.
Only a few are truly able to do it for a long time. And I think today, it might be a little bit easier for older artist to stay relevant, but they have to find away to stay relevant, which is something social media helps with, which I think is part of the reason Britney used to post herself dancing, but really looking bat shite crazy. In her mind she was trying to stay relevant.
Not many artist can do what Taylor Swift has done. She doesn't just appeal to her original audience, she has been able to appeal to the next up and coming age group with each album so the people who "grew up" listening to her is a lot of people between kids and people who are early 40s.. late 30s.
I know, this is a lot of bullshite.
