We laugh but this a-hole has a private jet mansion and an island by stealing peoples money. He demands they give him money right to their face and then has the audacity to show up next week and do it again.

These preachers are less centralized with fewer people involved in their individual operations. It's harder to get a toehold and get someone to talk, I'd imagine.
Plus, stupid people sending these jackasses money of their own free will is way less sexy than slave labor, shadowy security forces, re-education camps, a private Navy, and billion year contracts.

according to the internets his net worth is $760 million. that's absolutely fricking disgusting.

While I am no fan of Bill Maher, his documentary (mockumentary) called "Religulous" is worth a watch.
While he displays his typical "anti-religious" stance...he deserves credit where it is due: he really goes after the crooks and extremists of all the major faiths. Honestly, I am surprised that some radical muslim hasn't shot him yet for making this film.
