I am in the same boat fella. I am just glad my son is a very neive and immature 13, and he's not looking it up right now.
Yeah I am about 99% sure. He only has an ipad, only access to the internet is at home or via hotspot on my or my wifes phones. I can watch traffic on my network at home, so...

There’s nothing you can do If they want to find it. Many sites don’t follow the law. And if he wants, he can get apps that allow for work arounds.. the best answer is to talk to them and help navigate them through the waters of all the shite thats out there. Literally sometimes.
ETA… I miss the days in my youth where we had to truly work for it.. steal and hide a random mag… squint through the scrambled spice channel while listening to the sound. Honestly I feel sorry for today’s kids. The discovery and mystery of it all was a big part of discovering what sex was really like

No computer or phone alone in his bedroom would be a short-term solution, but that would only work while you are at home.
Once he his home alone, it would be all systems go.
All you need these days is a connection to Reddit or Twitter, and he can find porn, so there's no one size fits all way to block it out.

Good. Making it a challenge is good for him even if you know he'll circumvent it.
We have a no devices in your room rule. If nothing else, that will keep him from looking at it constantly.

I know it will be impossible to completely keep it from him, but he’s almost 12 now, and I’d like to at least try.
got news for you karen, he has ben watching porn for at least 3-4 years now
best you can do is talk to him about it and hope he only watches normal porn and not the disgusting freaky shite

Detoxify. $5.99 a month. Works great.

Does he have friends or go to their houses?
I’m not trying to be a dick, but 13…ain’t no way he isn’t seeing a naked woman somewhere.

Careful with the curiosity that is driven when you make something completely off limits. I agree with the suggestion earlier about talking to him about it rather than just cutting it completely off. Tell him that shite is not an accurate representation of healthy sex.

I think you may be misinformed. I don't think that is correct, but maybe I missed it

Just download it all to your computer and hide the folder with a password encryption. Then there won't be any porn out there for him to watch

Your son already installed the VPN for the wifi. You should just go ahead and see if y’all can bond on favorite genres

We had natural obstacles, these kids won't
i've got two teenage boys with phones.
1) IMHO 12 is two young. we waited till 8th grade for both. to each their own.
B) My kids both know i look regularly at their history. if anything is deleted (they may know more than me, but they're not smarter than me.) Then phone is gone for a while. The only BAD things i've found is that one of them discovered that there are "audiobooks" or "Podcasts" of people having sex on spotify. that one was on me for not knowing that, but now we all share an account so i can see everything they're listening to. the other one thought he was smart to try and watch youtube shorts in his browser when he can't delete his history. It wasn't nudity but thots, nonetheless.
eta: some parents (and my kids) think this is a violation of privacy. if i am paying for your phone and you want to get the benefits of being my kid in my good graces, then it's awesome. if you don't like that, you can buy your own phone and pay your own plan. i'm not handing you a tool that can lead to sin and porn addiction and letting you find your own way through it without supervision.
III) if they do have an iphone, you can turn a built in content filter on the phone itself. It is not perfect, but without the code (that you set) they aren't going to be getting to Pornhub.com, etc. i'm sure it's beatable, but i have it on my phone and it's fairly shameful to type my wife's birthday to look at porn so it does it's job. if you want to look at it :
settings --> screen time --> Content and privacy restrictions

I don't do it regularly. But the way I have my stuff set up, I can simply search for character combo's, or even had alerts set up to flag me if adult stuff was searched or viewed. But my son hasn't really given me any reason to look. There were a couple of times he acted a little sus, but nothing came up when I looked. (except for my searches and views.....lol)

There are services that will filter it out. The crap about entering your age doesn't work.
At least that's what I have heard...
