No. We are doing the same. Our daycare isn’t closing (yet). However, the kid comes home with every illness you can imagine. I have elderly parents I’d like to be able to assist and visit and I can’t do that if my son is in daycare. He may not suffer an illness of any consequence but he sure as hell can infect the rest of us in the home. My employer is aware and I will work from home and manage the madness. It won’t be easy, but it’s better than risking getting sick.

He's just so sickly which is my main concern and if it's all going to shut down anyways why risk more exposure.

Any bit of immune issues I would err on safety. Not worth the headache if it can be avoided.
Despite what the state says, there are corona patients in BR. Someone has to take care of them.

I’ve kept my toddler out of daycare the last two weeks. If you can manage it then why not?
I do feel bad that I am constantly telling him I have to work and sending him to play by himself, but in a way that’s good for him too.

We have two girl’s (6 grade and 8 grade) in our subdivision and they come help in the afternoons from 3:30-5 with my 3 kids, it’s great and they love them

He just turned two last month. So he's at a weird age where he knows what to do but is being defiant just to be an a-hole. And then at one point today I said no to one thing and he put himself in time out. Kids are weird.

Schools haven't technically closed here. Spring break starts tomorrow so I'm sure the announcement will be made this week.

I’m just saying most places have done this even if not by choice so you’re not crazy. Although I would keep my 4 year old in daycare if I had the option, we were sent a survey and we said yes... but board said no and decided to keep our money. Nice and fair. He’s been in daycare since he was 6 weeks old and his immune system is rock solid. No cases where I live, yet
