How is that not attempted murder? Am I missing something here?

I think there is a a rather large number of jurisdictions that don't technically have attempted murder charges. I think they often show up as battery with intent to harm, etc.

Eric has Andy Reid’s parenting skills

Zactly my thought.

quote:

"Our hearts go out to Eric Bieniemy and his family. Thoughts and prayers are with them. I can't get into details on it, but things happen sometimes, and Eric will work through it," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Monday.

…when you don’t parent.

Coaching NFL is high stress, glamorous job. Downside is you are 100% not available to be a parent, in so doing. Give or take.

Choices.

Idk about that. Know a lot of good people who have a wild child, or two. Their other son has cerebral palsy which is tough. If teams thought he could be a HC they would hire him to be a HC.

Well, oftentimes there's only 14 or 15 years between their generations
What are you talking about?

Eric Bieniemy will be 57 in less than a month. Elijah Bieniemy is 27.

They are nearly 30 years apart.

Lots of "character issues" (former gangbanger growing up in CA, assault charges against women).

Crazy how time flies. Seems like just 20 years ago he was a great RB for Colorado.

Bienemy’s family is from (and mostly still around) NOLA.

He was born in August of 1969 in NOLA and lived there until 1979 when his family moved to L.A.

His dad worked for OTIS Elevators in NOLA, he died last year at age 74.
