MAYFIELD, KY — There was a real cause for celebration Tuesday at Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mayfield. The nursing home, faced with a COVID-19 outbreak that has affected multiple residents and staff members, announced its first resident to recover from the illness.
Mills announced Tuesday that resident Katie Hayden has recovered from COVID-19, rolling out the red carpet to celebrate her victory over the virus.
"Today Katie Hayden got to take a stroll down the red carpet! Why? Because she conquered COVID-19!" the nursing home shared via Facebook. "Katie is the first of many residents who will conquer this virus! #MillsStrong #TeamKentucky #TogetherKY"

According to the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, 65 residents and 31 staff members at Mills have tested positive for COVID-19. The state agency says 15 residents have died.

I legit do not understand the facemask below the nose thing.
I'd say at least 40% of the people I see with masks on have it below their nose.
Bonus: I've seen one person (costco worker) fold the mask into a little strip that ONLY covers the nose. Mouth completely exposed

Cloth face masks on novice wearers outside of a clinical environment are virtually useless.

Not virtually. Completely useless.

Because people are idiots, but they want to follow the crowd and be able to shame those that do not wear them.
They also constantly touch them and adjust them with their gloved hands, but make sure to drop the gloves in the parking lot because they are contaminated. If masks can actually help prevent people from catching COVID (or any other virus), these people are most likely a higher risk to actually contract the virus
I still get a kick out of the people that wear them while they are driving in their car by themselves.

Why is she wearing a mask at all? She's not going to catch it again.

You just wait until Karen finds out about Katie!

Try telling people that. It doesn't sink in with the screaming Karens that maybe you had it, survived it with no issues despite being older, got tested again after no more symptoms, came back negative, went for an antibody test, donated plasma like a considerate person. All they see is the lack of a mask.
