If you're not screaming while you lift, you're doing it wrong.

He's walking it off. There is zero intimidation coming from him. Looks like completely normal man behavior when lifting. He actually seems pretty chill to me considering how ridiculous she's being.

Remember, she was the instigator. This guy is minding his own business and they're in a gym, not the library.

Wow, that was not yelling and barely a drop. I thought I was gonna see some Russian Olympic deadlift scream and drop video, that was nothing. Her voice was the most annoying thing in the video

You do more to increase your strength by lifting half your max numerous times than lifting your max one time. That lift isn't improving your muscular strength, it's tiring your muscles out.

Now, if you don't care about getting stronger, and just want to get more cut, then you should do maximum reps with minimal weight.

How can someone be so wrong? Google is a click away.

I agree with her. He's not working out doing that. One lift and a drop is doing a max, which is pointless under the circumstances.

Working out to get stronger is doing less weight and more reps, not straining to lift once, and dropping immediately.

This guy is a douche and should be called out constantly.

And before anybody tries to ask "Do you lift?" and "What's your max, bro?" No, I don't lift. My max is probably way less than 465. Maybe I could get just above 250 on a good day, with proper prep.

But I also don't annoy others at a public setting, film myself being an annoying douche towards others, then post to youtube bitching about them complaining about me being annoying.

ETA: And then he's walking around, fists balled up, arms flexing, staring her way like he's about to fight her or at least bow up to intimidate?

A general fitness gym like PF with mainly cardio and machines grunts and drops are generally frowned upon and I think that is fine.

IMO, if planet fitness wants to be true to its motto, they need to remove all freeweights from every one of their gyms.

Why do we continue to allow the weakest among us to rule us?

Have we forgotten the art of the "attitude adjustment"?

I’d strip the weight off to 225 and start doing some clean and jerks and drop it from the top every rep. frick that pain in the arse.

Karen 100%

Weight droppers do get agrevating when it's 45lb dumbells from an Incline bench or 315 deads with no Clamps slinging it.

But it's a gym... Thats like complaining about loud cars at Nascar..

I don't think the guy is excessive. He wasn't too loud and only one rep. The lady is just being a Karen. Somebody should tell her to focus on her workout and stay in her lane.

Cause I don’t do roids and if you’re dropping it from the top you’ve got to clean it anyway.
