Finally listening to the Dr on the stand today and she brings up the same point I made last week about comparing the case the CW brought up of the person with no broken bones in the arms and legs but a multitude of other severe injuries from an MVA to OJO. It was a bad move on the CW’s part. It highlighted injuries you would expect from an MVA and this ain’t it. She articulated it well.
Also finished listening to snarky cop Devers. She sure didn’t help the cop’s public opinion by being so defensive and abrasive. If she truly had no involvement in the case (her words) why be so hostile ?

She was so adamant and defensive that it made her look guilty. Clearly she changed her testimony to appease her superiors. Dumbass thinks these cops give a frick about her and is therefore willing to fall on the sword and pretend like this was all her idea and her mistake.

Her testimony crippled the Commonwealth today and very much brings in reasonable doubt now.

Also, this was the only case that she was called up to the Commissioners office, yet every other case she has been on, no call up. How interesting.

So I found out this morning that a guy I know (a little) from my gym had to testify in the trial. Nice guy and doesn’t talk much, so that was a funny surprise.

It’s obvious he fishing. She’s doing really well correcting him and sticking to her expert opinion. She needs to ask Brennan for the transcripts of what he said she initially testified to.
