The judge sustains every freaking objection.

It's not our of bounds, it's just that the defense wanted to question the witness about the report, but it wasn't his report.

They can call Paul if they want.

It's unknown

It is very much known, She is a very close friend of the Alberts, thus the Auntie Bev.

Feels like the Judge has sustained more objections in the 20 minutes of the defense’s first witness than she did the entirety of the state’s case

I've never seen evidence of anything like that.

Her brother represented Kevin Albert in a self defense case about 30 years ago. That's the only connection I've ever seen.

I don't think you are addressing the issue. The data came from the report. We all know they can call him, so you can stop posting that.

They wanted to ask questions about the report and likely conclusions made by Paul through Welcher. The judge deemed it not probative enough to be asked about through a 3rd party.

Not sure why you're being so hostile

I meant zero hostility. Just pointing out that, IMHO, you were addressing things that were not asked.

Once again Brennan proves himself to be a slimy POS.

It's amazing some lawyers don't get this part. The last jury trial I had, I watched a poor plaintiff get zero from the jury simply because the jury hated his lawyer. Hell, my client's $50K had been offered for 3 years. Zero.

It's interesting that he's a defense attorney brought in as a special prosecutor. I wouldn't hire him. I'm not sure of his litigation style or his hideous accent.

You are referring to Sean McCabe, who himself is on record in several text conversations calling her Auntie Bev. Sean McCabe is Jenn McCabe's brother in law and good friends with Brian Albert and Bran Higgins.

No, that's not was a referring to. In 1994, Chris Albert was represented by John Prescott, the brother of Judge Beverly Cannone, in a manslaughter trial.

It’s almost he is the defense attorney for the Commonwealth.

Based on some of your other comments I don’t take your post seriously.

I'll say again, this does not necessarily mean that there is a bias. It "could" mean that the defense is pushing the boundaries more than the state which, if were the case here, the sustains would fall more in the state's favor.

Several attorneys streaming and covering this case are stumped about why many of the objections have been sustained.

I think much of the objections were based on leading questions. This is Jackson's first witness where he can't. Some were also based on foundation issues.

Much I saw from today was eventually allowed once the question was rephrased or foundation laid.
