Hank rested without all the "facts, science, and data" to show beyond a reasonable doubt that KR hit JOK.
Hank is a lying liar who lies.
Grant the motion to dismiss Bev! Do it!

Jen McCabe looking out the window twice in 15 minutes would have heard this collision or noticed something different. She heard and saw nothing.

There's more evidence of that than there is that Karen murdered someone

The CW played a clip of KR sayin she thought she may have hit him then rested.

Yes, they resume at 9:30 tomorrow.

I still can’t believe they let her do those interviews.

I thought the actual quote was, "Could I have hit him?"

"Did he come and hit the back of my car and I hit him in the knee and he's drunk and passed out?"
"And when I hired David Yanetti I asked him those questions the night of January 29th. David, what if I ran his foot over or what if I clipped him in the knee? And David said, yeah then you have some element of culpability."

What Ifs aren’t a confession. I like that this jury is much younger than the first jury.

Agreed but she was merely going over all possibilities and her hitting him was one of those possibilities. I think Brennan used it for max effect but isn't earth shattering.
AJ will dispel it by saying "see how concerned my client was? She even included herself in the list of possibilities yet the CW has been unable to prove anything"

I never said they were. But publicly admitting that you thought you could have hit him, then saying after you talked to your attorney and he told you that if you did you would be culpable, then that's when you knew for sure that you didn't hit him, it's a bad look.
I still think there's too much reasonable doubt to convict, but those clips could end up screwing her.

This trail is - Reasonable Doubt 101. There's just no possible way a jury can unanimously convict her of murder. It's like there is a neon sign blinking "reasonable doubt" in this courtroom.

Defense can hammer them in close about who the state did not call

Why is Aunt Bev in the tank for the CW so much? With her not allowing key cycle evidence tied to Trooper Paul which Judas Welcher brought up, it doesn't allow the defense to present it, yet the CW is who entered it into evidence in the first place (odometer reading).
This gal's take is agreeable to me (and she's kinda cute)

It's unknown. She worked as a public defender for 24 years.

The defense can call Proctor and get everything in that way. And I really don't see the downside of calling him.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that Proctor will be called. There is bias all over this case and he's going to have to read his own words......in front of the jury

The lead investigator has to take the stand. It would be really odd to not hear from the lead investigator.
Posted on 5/30/25 at 8:51 am to Veritas
I would title him "former lead investigator" as he's no longer employed by them.

Why exactly is the Trooper Paul stuff out of bounds?
