Oh, without a doubt. I bet there are a few attorneys making change filing all those papers right now.

I’m just finishing up on listening today and oh man do I think that Yuri fricked up by saying he would take any report written by him or Proctor as gospel and testify to it. Dude just opened the door all the way for the defense.

Wow.. I followed it a little bit this morning but haven't looked at anything since. Was Proctor considered the lead investigator? I wonder how much each jury member knows about Proctor? I assume they know the story because they live there, but I'm sure not everyone followed the story.

All this time goes by and I just realized we haven’t heard from a medical examiner about the victim’s body and how it relates. I find that weird. They put a phone forensics woman in the stand to basically defend mccabe’s search (McCabe is not on trial). They put a meteorologist to tell us it was cold in Boston in January but no medical examiner ?

he wasn't considered the lead investigator. he was the lead investigator. he was fired for the way he handled the investigation.
it's absurd the state decided to re-try the case.

The evidence was speaking to Yuri! Yuri must have learned from Trooper Paul.

Bukhenik has now accused Jackson of giving him faked/forged information for the second time. No one on the prosecution, or in the jury, can think this looks good for the Commonwealth.

AJ keeping his cool during this is impressive. The guy answers no questions.

So he remembers everything about handing over evidence except who he handed it to. He’s so fricking clearly lying. And he refuses to answer ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ This is blowing my mind.

This is a complete joke. It's very clear he doesn't want to say that Proctor filled out the evidence folder.

Yuri should not be reliable to testify in a case again

He is likely just letting him bury himself. The more it looks like they are hiding something, the better for him.

He is a smug arrogant prick.. For sure.

I couldn’t take anymore macho oppositional defiant cop, is Yuri done or what?

I don't think so? They just broke for lunch. AJ had him read all of the texts between Karen and Brian Higgins. That was painful.

What is AJ going for with that? To show they were (possibly) seeing other people?

Not sure. The Court TV chat session mentioned a few possibilities: To show motive for Brian Higgins getting into a fight with John at the Albert's house that night. And/or to make sure the jury heard all of it in case Brian Higgins pleads the 5th.
My thought is that he did it to punish Yuri for being an a-hole on the stand. Their texts messages were beyond cringe and him reading them was comical.

Part of the defense theory is that Higgins was involved in the death of John O'Keefe because of Karen flirting with him and then ghosting him. That or John found out and wanted to confront Brian.
ETA: Bukhenik refusing to say that those texts were flirtatious makes him look even worse.
