What did the judge rule regarding the juror who is now the defense side now?
There is nothing for her to rule on regarding the juror turned defense counsel.

Ok I was busy conflating the two from the CourtTV headline about Colin Albers being the "3rd party" vs the juror who is now on the defense

I am not watching the jury process, but I have to wonder how they can even pick one now after all the coverage.

Yeah it almost needs to be in a different state.. Anyone know if its continuing today? I wasn't able to watch yesterday.

Yes, they are in court today for jury selection.
Yesterday they had 92 potential jurors and they asked everyone if they had heard of the Karen Read case. 78 of the 92 potential jurors raised their hand.

The other 14 were lying

Damn.. yeah I guess everyone around there has heard of it.

The best they can

So, one of the tiktok gals covering this claims the phone data makes it impossible for Karen to have done it. Something about the time John's phone was last locked
I saw this video too, but I'm not really sure how the locking of the phone proves anything.
There seems to be a trend of lot of girls on tik tok that are coming up with theories on what happened and just making wild assumptions. I'm not sure if this is just because of the recent documentary or what.

I would recommend listening to someone other than Melanie Little. There are plenty of people covering this case that are still pro Karen Read but don't show the extreme bias that Little does.

I wish the voir dire was televised like it was in the George Floyd cop case.

So I just finished the HBO documentary. This case doesn't make sense from either side at all. Just a really messed up situation. One thing I'm curious about is if the people in the house killed the guy, why would they stash him on their front lawn? That makes zero sense to me

There may have been a radio call about a pedestrian hit by a plow that might have been scrubbed from existence.
The thought is They were planning on saying he was hit by a street plow but Jen McCabe saw the cracked taillight and the narrative was changed to KR hit him.
The sad part is if that was their plan and they stuck with it Lucky would probably be in jail for something he didn’t do.
OJO was not hit by a vehicle. KR is innocent.

I don’t know if she’s innocent. But from what I’ve seen, prosecution failed to prove “beyond reasonable doubt” by a whole lot.

What keeps you from getting to innocent?

I don’t know as much about the case as y’all do.
I did watch the HBO series. Unless it is highly edited, the state just doesn’t have a case.
She has the presumption of innocence. So that’s all you need.

So you never got past reasonable doubt to find that she was guilty and just didn’t put any more thought into her possible innocence?

I have not watched the HBO series and probably won’t as it seems it is a hit piece.
What does the series have in it regarding the ARCCA experts?

Nope. I found her to be repulsive. The cops testifying against her were just more repulsive.
