Replying to an excerpt from a quote:"If he was hit by a vehicle he would have bruises and most likely broken bones at the point of impact."

When I was a kid a realative accidentally backed up his car over my foot. I didn't have any broken bones. There has to be a lot of weight on the back tires to completely do damage like that. Normally bones would be broken. So many things go into that.

Horse crap. His arm was caught. The tire went up his shoulder, and was stopped by his head as it received blunt force trauma. (It was like a chocked tire at that point.) The lower part of his arm was cut by ice on the road.

None of this dinosaur American technology seems to be useful. Germany has flying cars. The states needs to shut half their lights off just for a car charger.

Rolling over someone's foot and backing into someone at 24mph are completely different interactions. If you don't understand that you should just stop putting any thought into this case. If a person were to hold out their arm and have a vehicle back into it at 24mph, They would have bruises on the arm, most likely some broken bones and the shoulder might even be dislocated. OJO didn't have a bruise or broken bone, just some scratches.

She definitely knows more than she is leading on. "I'm just a friend. I'm not the one on trial!".

In the first part of the court thread (it actually may be this thread), there was a discussion of deleted video/Ring doorbell footage from 34 Fairview. Was that verified as deleted?

This being compared to:

is some 65 IQ type shite. Stop posting. You were not meant to interact with normal people.

Thanks

i watched the 5 episode doc on the first trial and now I'm all-in on this second trial. This case is literally a shite show at the frick factory... and I can't wait to see how it ends.

I'll be honest, I haven't been following this case in detail despite it happening miles from me. But I started watching the doc last night and now I'm hooked.

I've seen the groups of "Free Karen Read" many times in Dedham when I go to Whole Foods.

It's getting harder and harder for me to watch because of Aunty Bev. I am pretty sure if I were treated like the defense team by a judge, I would be filing a report with the Judiciary Commission.

The doc didn't mention that at all.. but by your statement I can only imagine how hard the defense is fighting the prosecution and the judge. She should be totally impartial but unfortunately they very seldom are.

News outlets reported that there was ring camera footage of Officer John O'Keefe being hit by Karen Read backing into him. I do not think the Commonwealth has mentioned a thing about possible ring camera footage of the incident in court.

Would not surprise me at all if that story was put out there to intimidate Karen Read to take a plea deal.

Could definitely see the CW pulling that type of stunt.

Welcome to the show. I'd recommend finding a few YouTube channels to watch for recaps each day during the trial. It's going to be fun to keep up with, especially to see how they change their approaches from the first trial.

Yeah I'm a true crime junkie but never got attached to the first trial for some reason. I'm all over this one though. Been watching motion hearings from yesterday all morning
