That dude is just trying to do his fricking job - what a count. Everyone knows trucks need extra room to turn - give them their space. That guy was patient as hell too.

I give credit to the driver for keeping his cool because I would have wanted to call her a worthless ugly fricking bitch who needs to get laid (or something real mean to make her cry hoping she will realize if she just would have backed up she wouldn't have had her feelings hurt).

I no shite had a similar situation to this one this very morning. I was in a Whataburger drive-thru, getting a honey butter chicken biscuit. They asked a vehicle three cars in front of me to pull forward and wait for them to bring them their food. The drive thru lane was situated such that it's a pretty narrow to get out. Not really big enough for two vehicles side by side when you make the turn to get out of the lane.
After watching the two cars in front of me have to back up multiple times to make the turn, it was my turn to go. I drive a full cab pickup so making the turn without hopping the curb and driving through some of the flowers. So I pull up on the side of the car and ask him to please back up as he was pulled up so far that he was blocking the lane to where I absolutely couldn't make the turn without driving through the flowers. This fricking winner with dreads, a wife beater, and a mouth full of gold teeth proceeded to yell and gesture at me that he wasn't moving. Straight up thug with no regard for anybody else.
Gots ta get mines and frick errbody else.
So I had to hop the curb and drive through some of the flowers. There's just no fricking winning with some people. Sure, I could've kept going back and forth with the guy, had him potentially get out of his car and approach me. Potentially had it escalate to a situation in which no one would win, but what's the point? The guy would still be a thug fricking loser and I'd have had an even bigger problem on my hands than some Democrat not giving a shite about anybody else. All over a damn .99 heart attack as Tim McGraw would say.

This, both looked pretty awful to me. How crappy is that driver if after 31 years experience he is still putting himself in positions like that.
Breaux Mart on Magazine St in NOLA is a perfect example. Their receiving is behind the building - to get to that dock you've got to take two VERY tight turns to get in and two VERY tight turns to get back out onto Magazine. Some people are nice about it and will give you space - but a lot of people are dicks about it that couldn't help you if their lives depended on it. I've had to wait out people like this several times. Many deliveries into major cities are like this - especially Chicago and that God forsaken Fulton Market.
That's trucking. Just gotta do your best so that you don't hit shite because that's when your day turns bad.
