You use the word simply, which is exactly what this driver didn’t want to do. Something simple.
Running the license plate doesn’t tell you who the driver is only the owner. Insurance, registration again doesn’t identify the current driver only the owner of the vehicle. Hence why the cops ask for an ID/drivers license from the person actually driving.

Yet, another year of the NFL kneeling Protesting Police Profiling...?
The truth is, police profiling is legit and will never go away. Why? well, how many attitudes have we seen over the years with videos like this one? An attitude, "You pulled me over because I am black, I don't have to follow this law today, I am having a bad day, I am late, white drivers didn't have their belts on, you didn't pull them over, you need to go trouble someone else".
Maybe it worked with their mothers? I don't know
this maybe be racist but there was a sedan in front of us the other day, 2 pit pulls hanging out the windows...
all windows down...on a day in the 90's
my son and I had just watched a video in news where 4 pits destroy this jogger...I said I am not a fan of the breed...my son said, Dad, it depends on how your raise them...and I said, well many raise them for protection, like African Americans...
I said something to the effect, I bet the driver is an African American....they love pits and a sign of don't mess with me or my stuff" (windows down was the profiling)
my son jokingly said, that's kind of racist...
I said ok ...but am I wrong? we pull up, and it's 2 black guys in the front...with their pits in the backseat...

And the first two officers to arrive afterwards were both female as well. I realize it is sexist to say, but if I am the man cop and I know trouble is brewing, that tiny female cop is the last person I'd want to see as backup for me.

Which part of any of this is about race? Responses would likely be the same had it been a white suspect. Find a video of a whitey doing this, and nobody will give a shite the same as this black suspect. The guy was part of the lowest common denominator to society. Unfortunately, the shot didn't hit anything good, and will continue to be a hindrance to the system.

I honestly didn’t have an issue of him being shot. I think she should have tased him but she had every right to protect her fellow officer

Really? I would think she could use deadly force in this situation.
That dude body slammed the cop and was about to go ham on his head. You could see him start swinging at this head when the female cop shot him.
