How do they secure the aircraft on the carriers if they are heading into rough seas? some of those look like they are 10 feet or so from falling off.

My brother was on the Ranger for his 2nd tour. It was the last tour for the Ranger. His 1st tour was on the Midway and it was the last tour for that carrier.

Three of the ships I served on grouped together.
USS Concord, USS Milwaukee, USS Nimitz
Concord was sunk in a torpedo training exercise, Milwaukee was scrapped for razor blades and Nimitz still carrying on proudly.
