How has no one said crazy arse Terrance Howard?
This but do the one with him and Bret Weinstein on so you can hear the contrast between being smart vs thinking you’re smart

The “choke me out right now” episode with Alex jones might be the most entertaining podcast ive ever heard
It might be hard to find that one not sure if Spotify banned/pulled it

Other than Donald Trump, are the any others that stand out as a "must hear" episodes?
The Bob Lazar one is absolutely fascinating. I hate “talk radio” type things, and podcasts. But for some reason I don’t mind JRE. But the Lazar one is the first one I ever listened to start to finish. And regardless of what you believe, it’s a great listen. But if you like alien type shite it’s even cooler.

I like the Eric Weinstein and Jordan Peterson ones too. I recall an interesting Robert Malone episode way back during Covid.. There is a Tulsi one that made me really like her, even though she was a Democrat at the time.
Never listen to MMA and rarely to the comedians. Any that they get high and talk about aliens sort of lose me too.

After basically ignoring the podcast landscape my wife watched the Vance interview with me. I almost wept. We both enjoyed it.

Theo Von ones are always good
Science based, anything with Brian Cox, Brian Greene, or Sean Carroll

Mediocre comedian, but GOAT Ranter.
It’s dated but when Joe brought him and Alex Jones on the same time was peak podcasting.
Speaking of Jones, when he had Jones and Eddie Bravo on I was just started with Rogan and lost my mind.
I do enjoy some of the ones where he has specialist on about things I don’t know about. The Means siblings, dude that was Parks and Wildlife and started taking down growops by the cartel, the guy that worked for the federales, some scientists who knew everything there was to know about coyotes.
Dave Smith is my all time favorite guest. Dude nails what I’m thinking 99% of the time. Outlier is Israel/Palestine and it’s not that he’s wrong.
His F you at media, the deep state, establishment republicans and democrats this last Rogan episode should be an ad on repeat until they change their ways.

You can't go wrong with a Rogan alien special so check out the Bob Lazar episode

It's been said repeatedly but if the guest is someone (or an expert) in a topic you like it will probably be good.
If you like comedy and comedians there is a wide range of guests that fit that bill.
Alternative/Ancient History has been one of my favorite subjects through JRE. It's probably done it's job too well as I've gone down many rabbit holes outside of JRE. At this point think most of the Hancock type stuff is 90% BS which takes some of the fun away. Still entertaining and there are some nuggets that still make me wonder about stuff.
I really like the political guests he's had on, especially recently. Even people I don't agree with (like Fetterman) have been fairly decent.
The biggest tip is to just google something like "Joe Rogan guest (insert your topic of interest here" and go from there. After you catch up on your own low hanging fruit then you can venture out and probably find new topics of interest. There are some real surprises that will vary from listener to listener based on how things hit you. A good example someone gave was the Jewel interview. I would have thought nearly 4 hours of Jewel would be boring but it was actually fascinating. I love to play video games while listening to JRE...great way to kill an afternoon.
