does anyone know the name of the biologist(I think) who talked about thought to be extinct animals and things like that?

Scrolling thru this thread just reminds me how appreciative I am to Joe Rogan. He is starting and continuing conversations in the time when the powers want us to be quiet.
He’s like a Walter Cronkite/Paul Harvey of our time.

Dan Flores?
He's a historian/writer specializing in archeology and anthropology
Anything he does is worth listening or reading

Vance was better than Trump.
Vance is just great at interviews. Like really great. He dominates CNN people when they try to "gotcha" him and he comes off just smart and easy going in informal interviews like Rogan. Guy is crazy smart and depending on how the next 4 years go for him, could very likely be in the White House one day.

Randal Carlson . They have done several and I suggest finding the first one the listen to them all in order. It will blow your mind
Peter Attia and Andrew huberman are pretty good if you like anything health related.
Jimmy corsetti and Brian maruresku for ancient civilizations and such . Very interesting

His interviews are great because he doesn’t go in with an angle. He literally just wants to learn as much as he can. To answer your question, Jordan Peterson, Mike Tyson, Theo Vonn (those are just funny), Bret Weinstein, Brian Cox, Ben Shapiro… no gotcha moments, no agenda.
And he’s got those childish baw type moments. He’ll talk about bears and shite.
My favorite Joe Rogan moment was when he was talking to Elon Musk about the cyber truck and Joe Rogan said that he thinks he could shoot an arrow through it. So they stop the podcast and relocate to the garage where he shoots an arrow and Elon is off to the side watching it smoking a cigar and drinking a whiskey.

I also like the Douglass Murray ones
His voice is so soothing to me and he’s damn smart
He’s got a new book in the spring out about Israel and hamas so I look for him to come back on Rogan around that time
Will be a must listen

The best was when he was on Piers Morgan. I don’t love Piers Morgan because he only invites woke idiots who are low hanging fruit, but there was this woke gay guy on there and referred to Douglas Murray as a straight white male who didn’t understand, then Douglas Murray says “yeah except I’m gay” and basically the episode was over at that point.
