If you are in O&G in a couple it years 2020 will be looked back on as a pretty good year.

Florida doesn’t have any refineries. Most of their gas and diesel comes from Louisiana.

Thanks Biden!

Wow. He is such a powerful leader he gets credit months before even possibly taking office?

You somehow missed the 800 times Biden said he would get rid of fossil fuel? His party’s agenda is well known, many industries have been preparing for a potential Biden administration for a long time now.

Yep, and it’s not like you can just buy a plant that has been shutdown and just flip the “on” button

That is correct. They also don't have pipelines in Florida so everything is brought in by barge or boat.

I would offer free land and tax breaks to major tech companies for a 3 year period. Companies that come in that period are the only ones with the breaks. In theory if it takes off more will follow providing jobs, and later an increase in local revenue. With the only loss being state held land and tax revenue they weren't getting anyway.

Or good that the tax payers didn’t get fricked once again on another economic development boondoggle.

You retards don't even have a clue how much the tax base can improve with these companies. I'm sure you are one of the under-educated loons that whine about tax breaks and is absolutely clueless that this refinery still provided more than $20,000,000/year to the local economy.

The company I work for is a service provider for Shell (one of our clients), the end goal for them is to go from 14 refineries around the world to 6.
