A car crash? You’re crazy.
It legitimately made the house shake a wee bit like an insane thunder/lightning storm would do. Car crash and firework doesnt do that for a 10mile radius.

My money is on the LP. The AP has gone soft.

Was wondering the same, off of Tiger Bend. Also sounds like lots of fireworks being played with this year around Hickory Ridge area.

I heard it in Saint Francisville and it sounded familiar. Like cannon fire from a civil war reenactment.

They filming anything right now? Seems like all the talent would go home right about now. They might bring in some explosions.

Based on the the posts since last night, it had to be a sonic boom.
It was heard from Lafayette to Biloxi....

I heard a “boom” coming from the southwest last night as I was moving cars. I wonder if it’s the same one this thread is about. Not sure what time it was though. I live off Juban Rd.

The hell could’ve it been? Shook my house a little. Something entering the atmosphere? Dynamite? Sonic boom?

I lived in Rapid City SD for three years near Ellsworth, AFB. I once felt/heard a sonic boom, this was in the '90s and they were probably a little loose with restrictions on airspace than they are now. I will never forget it- the air vibrated and the entire building -windows and all shook. It would describe it as moving "forceful energy". What happened last night was pretty close. I'm near George O Neal in Shenandoah. My home did not shake. The minute I heard it, I was reminded of the boom years ago. If I did not know better, something flew over us, or some kind of weapon was detonated.

So the OT can find a missing person in California but can't determine what caused houses to shake in Shenandoah last night???

OT never ceases to amaze me lol
