We should ban dumb people

This whole thing is just awfully sad
Maybe I'm an a-hole, but I really dont find it that sad nor do I see why the parade had to be cancelled. It wasnt a murder, it was an accident

So sorry man. shite is surreal still, I was nearby but thankfully didn’t see it. Can’t believe this happened twice.

It’s not sad and the parade should not have been cancelled.

Don’t mean a lick to me. I still see it in my head every time I hear a train horn, or see a train pass, or walk across the tracks, which is damn near every day,
But never once do I think “that should stop the trains.”
Horrible accidents can happen. It doesn’t mean they aren’t tragic. But this is Mardi Gras
Laissez les bon temps rouller.

i’ve paused the video at 14 seconds
i’ve straight up stared at the foot of the guy with the kid
i don’t see fricking shite. maybe i’m drunk and can see it better in the morning. i hear and see the reactions but don’t see any fricking thing at all
eta: there’s literally nothing to the right of the foot of the guy with the kid (when the guys on the float are shouting for help) except the cop

It’s not easy to see but you will see a black thing sticking out at the bottom followed closely by another black thing. Those are his shoes.
Pause it at 13 and slow mo from there

You hose it off, Chuck em In a bag, and the train rolls on.
Sometimes they don't hose the locomotive off too well.
And cellulite "grease" doesn't come off with just water.

Around 13 seconds you can see the guy second from the front on the float bring his arm down with what looks like lighted beads to hand to someone. So it seems the victim came up to the float to grab the beads, tripped and went under the wheel. You can make out what looks like the victim, between two other people on the ground, going under the float at 14 seconds. The two guys on the float start waving for the float to stop right around the same time.

The fact that someone was crushed to death and likely had family there to witness it (along with other parade goers including children) seems pretty sad to me. I don't know how people get close enough to get run over by a float, but just because I think they use no common sense does not mean it's still not a sad situation for all who were there.
I don't know about the whole canceling of the parade, but I don't know the logistics of all of that.

I was being polite, they didn’t hose it off. Chucked what was left in a bag. Parts that weren’t the bugs got. Nothing about the reality of things is pretty

I can’t tell if that is him going under the wheel or just the float skirt.

yeah i give up looking. it’s a dead guy so i don’t even know why i’m bothering. the guy earlier itt who said you can “clearly” see it has to be talking out of his arse. you can’t see shite lmao

It matches how his legs were sticking out on the pic (that got deleted)

I didn't think it was clear either. You can figure out what is happening more so by watching the actions of the two guys on the float.
