I live here. No where on I20 Would I reccomend stopping for a loved one between 22p and the River. Same going South on 49. Except it is called 3132 around the south side.

Now that I think about it. Just stay outside the loop and it is okay to nice. Inside, other than the small piece of Youree, stay away. Especially at night.

Take 220 all the way around to avoid the shithole.

I-20 from the state line to after the horse track in bossier is the worst stretch of road in the country.

They’ve tried to fix up the strip in downtown bossier by the Horseshoe but it’s nothing special.

Mid to Late 2000’s people were very high on this area due to Haynesville Shale and Cyber Command. Seems like that optimism went by the wayside rather quickly.

Shale went bust and cyber command went to Nebraska.

If I110 in Baton Rouge wasn’t raised it would be too dangerous to travel.

Wasn’t it just that the price of natural gas dropped to where it wasn’t that good to drill? Or am I wrong?

There are no "safe" exits on I-20 in Shreveport. The Bossier exits are safe, though.

Beat restaurant in the state is in Shreveport. They have bathrooms, too.

What could you have possibly seen off of I-20 to give you that reaction? You didn't see any "filth" of the interstate. So you don't like Shreveport...but cut it out with the nonsense already dude.

Lafayette has developed like it's terrified of I-10. If you weren't paying attention to the signs on I-10 you wouldn't realize you were driving through the Lafayette metro area.

It’s really no different than driving on interstate through any city. All the money has flighted out of Shreveport though. With the crime the way it is, nobody wants to try and raise a family or buy property in this hell hole.
