I don't know why. The service is superior. The equipment is superior. The picture and sound are superior. If NOLA would just get uverse internet already I can tell Cox to frick off all together. I really enjoyed bringing back all that shite to the Cox office today.

I know, dear diary....

I have had nothing but good experience with Cox. Even the once or twice in 10yrs that I had issues they fixed it quickly.

When I had satellite that bitch went out every time it rained. Screw that.

"But Sunday Ticket!!"

I couldn't care less about the NFL. I watch college football.

I've had satellite for 8 years in Louisiana and now I'm Texas. Have never had an outage. Ever.

you are going to hate it. I hate COX but every time it gets cloudy, rains or a bird shits on your dish.. Lights out. You will not have a signal. It always seems to happen during a great TV Show, Great Movie or Fantastic football game.

YOU ARE GOING TO HATE IT. Trust me. Plus their On Demand sucks balls

Congrats, you are going to learn that Cable is 1000000 x's better than Satellite.

I think they've made significant improvements to their satellites so the weather thing isn't an issue anymore. At least a that's what the installer told me.

Funny cause everytime I go to my sister and brother-in-laws and the weather is shitty, theirs goes out to. Then they talk about how it sucks and they wish their neighborhood had cable.

I had DirecTV for a couple of years but I didn't like it. One problem is if it's stormy outside you aint gonna be watching TV. That's bad enough but what really bugged me about them was that it never seemed I got the same bill twice. One month this , one month something else. And no internet. frick DirecTV.

I also hate the delay inbetween changing channels. It slows me down too much.

We just switched to directv Sunday and have been nothing but pleased. The people I know that have it in the area told us that even during Hurricane Isaac they never lost their signal. I especially like the genie. It's only been a few days but so far I like everything about it way more than cox. I'm no longer missing the last 2 minutes of a recorded show. I can record more than 2 shows at once and still watch live tv. So far so good.

All you had to do was get one of the newer boxes from Cox.

The irony here is you signed a 2-year contract.

I switched a few years ago and love it. Directv has been great. Before the installer left I told him to make sure he positioned the dish to get as perfect of a signal as possible. There is a test they can show you before they leave.

I was one of the first in the New Orleans area to have Cox Digital. It was always a constant issue with signal quality.

Directv >>>> Cable

Dish is even better, especially with customer service, than DirecTV.

And you believed him? Dumbass!

Had that shite for 3 years and every time it rained, I had to watch recorded stuff.

Oh, and enjoy the 150 infomercial channels.
