Only on issues I feel entirely passionate about. Usually BR traffic and definitely the wasteland that is our DirecTV service.

Switch to Dish. Their current promotions are really cheap and they lock the price for two years (granted, you have to stay for two years).

If your signal went out every time it rained then something was wrong with your set up. We only lost signal when a STORM was directly over our house. As soon as the storm passed it was working again. A normal rain shower would never cut out the signal, nor would clouds or anything else in the sky. It has to be a pretty bad storm.

And I 2nd what someone else said, you will feel even better dropping cable all together. We did it about 2 years ago and do not miss it at all.

See if it needs to update. Mine automatically updates all of the boxes, normally between 2 and 5am, maybe once every 6 months
