Both my wife and her cousin were both negative. Neither had symptoms but sat next to my wife’s uncle (the cousins dad) that did test positive.

My entire department (Physical and occupational therapy in a south Florida hospital) has been negative for antibodies (23/23 employees). We’ve all been in several dozen covid rooms physically touching the patients to help them get up and moving so we’re in pretty close proximity.
We’ve also been in plenty of rooms without covid PPE where the patients ended up becoming covid patients in the next few days.
There’s ABSOLUTELY something with immunity that we haven’t figured out yet. Whether that is being exposed to other corona viruses in the past or whatever. Just doesn’t make sense someone should’ve gotten it if the tests are accurate.

I know for certain someone who tested negative on Tuesday, then for some reason went and tested on Wed, and tested positive

Test results are obviously not reliable
They're not 100% but they are pretty accurate. That person may not have had a measurable amount on Tuesday.

Testing is the biggest issue. Having a quick results test that is always accurate would change how everything is being handled in this country. But we’re not even close to having that.
Like someone earlier said. Brooks Keopka caddie tested Neg, Pos, Neg after 3 tests in 48 hours.

I’ve had 100s if employees tested over the past 2 weeks in many states (lots in Texas, Arizona, and Florida). Only 3 have tested positive. I would say close to 97-98% testing negative. These results continue to be consistent but because of what the news has told them they continue to want to self quarantine for 14 days and not make any money. Just jumping back on the governments assistance programs.

Ran fever last week for a couple of days. Low oxygen level in blood. Headaches and dizzy. Tested the day after symptoms started and they came back negative. Had to take off from work for several days.

This happened to my sister. She tested on Friday after being exposed to a positive COVID patient. It was negative. Doc told her to retest on Monday. By Monday, she had symptoms and was positive. She is fighting COVID right now, and is at high risk. I am very worried. I've not spoken to her for 2 days. She is at day 6 of being sick.
