Just called the clinic near my house

I asked if they did COVID testing and she said yes. I asked if they could test for the delta variant. She said no. I asked if she knew of any other locations that could test for the delta variant. She said no. I hung up. What an absolute joke this is. If you can’t see the writing on the wall then you’re blind.

they send your sample off to a lab for further testing

They don't distinguish the delta variant because that requires genome sequencing at a more advanced lab. Your ignorance is showing.

Stop it. They let you know if you have covid, you have to opt to release your sample to the state for deeper testing than just a swab.
