Just almost witnessed an actual fight at Sonic

TLDR: Saw some frat stars and hoodrats almost rough each other up at Sonic.

So I was at the Sonic across the street from Mellow Mushroom near LSU's campus on this fine evening, picking up dinner and some ice cream. I place my order and while I'm waiting for them to bring it out, there were these fratted out dudes sitting in the outdoor area with some sororstitutes (sorry no pics). And these guys were major frat stars, with khakis or chubby shorts and sperrys and button downs and what not. Suddenly, this Dodge Challenger, which I believe was leaving Sonic, pulls by them and someone of African American decent rolled down the window and shouted "Damn y'all white women fine as hell!" There was a lot of laughter in the car accompanying this guy, so I'm thinking it was supposed to be a joke. But then one of the frat dudes stands up and says "The frick you say to me n*****?" At this point I was receiving my food.

So the black dudes got mad that the frat guy dropped an N bomb and four guys get out the car. I'm thinking oh shite, so I'm about to pull out of my spot to get out of there. This big tatted up dude says "What did you say cracker?" And the frat dude says "You know what I said," while the girls are trying to break it up. I don't really know what happened next because I was pulling around the back, but when I pulled up at the red light next to the building I see the groups of guys each holding a guy back, and the two "leaders" I guess were trying to engage in fisticuffs.

I drove away after that, so I'm not sure what happened, or if this will be in the news or something, but I thought it was a funny (from an outsider's perspective) story of two stereotypes crashing together at a Sonic no less, which is of course where the OT settles things. Sorry but this post is not in jest.
