The only times I've ever heard the 'n' word spoken in public were by black people.

In NYC, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Nashville, Denver, Detroit... I could go on.

I played a lot of basketball when I lived in Louisiana, and the N word is just a part of their jargon, daily speech etc.

If a White says the N word around blacks, they're likely to kill or maim that person. All White people in America know this.

The OP was totally believable until the 'fratstar says N word".

Whites, some anyway, will use that word in private or in exclusively White company. But in 52 years I've never heard a White say it in the presence of blacks.
