It's also frustrating because it's ignoring some things guns help protect against. I'm sure the Uyghurs in China wish they had some sort of defense against their inhumane treatment. Hell it is one of the bigger factors when other nations make internally discuss invading the United States.

again, how?

We can play this game all day: I ask you to prove why this isn’t the greatest country in the world, you offer some one-off, easily refuted gripe, and I’ll show you why you’re wrong—or why conditions are worse everywhere else. Meanwhile, you’ll keep tossing out empty taunts like “swing and miss” without actually backing them up. By all means, please go on proving how ignorant you are and how little you appreciate your own country.

proving my initial post in this thread:

correct. depending on which metric you use, self-defense shootings in America save tens of thousands of lives each year. nervmind all that tho.

Shocking how it’s always the liberals who get so excited to talk down about this country. Just fricking leave already. Go to the third world utopian shithole you dream of living in.

But no, of course you won’t. You’ll sit here in the safe comfort of this modern western country, forever unhappy but too chickenshit to leave.

Shut the frick up, bitch. I'm very proud to be an American because it's the greatest country the world has ever known. No one can compete with us in any statistically significant category.

Any trends in who commits those offenses, where they live, and how they vote? Just trying to identify the source of the problem for you.

We have arguably the most liberal abortion laws in the civilized world.

Are you delusional? American healthcare costs are double what the next country is. Including doctors that are glorified drug dealers. Take this pill so you can come back and take this one.

Doctors and healthcare in any developed country are exponentially better than America.

InB4: my mom would be dead before her doctor got her hooked on all these drugs excuses.

Sure you can. Despite the 42% number getting tossed around it says right in the op that only 9% aren't proud at all, but it's buried all the way down in the third paragraph so I'm not surprised most of the board missed it.

Agreed. While I wouldn’t necessarily call that a positive, overall this is still the greatest country in the world.
