Cant they still testify against him even if he does speak to police? Am I missing something? Wouldn't they still interview the Nigerians again after interviewing Jussie again? Just to corroborate?

Is it possible Jussie plans on admitting they are the ones who attacked him, and that his only lie was blaming it on white people? But saying it’s still a hate crime because they did it because he is gay. So now he said vs she said. They will claim he paid them, he will deny it. Definitely would be a Hail Mary.
