what crazy shite was this? I'm under no delusions that there weren't people being racist to Obama, but i'm unaware of the republicans that ran on impeaching him, giant rallies against him, special counsels, tweets from sitting congressmen calling him a nazi, racist, homophobic, or comedians showing his severed head.
The 3 worst things that happened to Obama was a rodeo clown dressing up as him, the "you lie" during his SOTU, and the birth certificate thing.
Trump's a douche, but there wasn't some open opposition that called for him to be impeached from day one. I say this, and I'm not an Obama hater by any means. In retrospect, he did a lot of things I liked. More that I didn't.

I completely agree with that statement.
My request of him, though, was to give some specific examples of the cases he mentioned in 2008 and 2016 that mirror all of the constant BS being spewed now. There will always be examples of over the top reporting regardless of party affiliation, my point is that the sheer volume of the BS reports that come from the anti-conservative crowd dwarfs anything coming from the ultra-right crowd.

I mean, there were some members of Congress who's midterm campaign centered around impeachment of the president. I dont remember seeing that kind of frothy mouthed fury during the Obama years.

It's not comparable at all. The way the left and their leaders have acted after this election has me never voting for them in the future.
