It's just funny to assume that if this all was true that someone was just walking around downtown Chicago with lynching rope and bleach. The joy in them when they realized they finally got to use them would have been something. "I've been bringing out this lynching rope and bleach for weeks....FINALLY, a C level celebrity that is both black and gay. When I'm done with him he will know that Chicago is MAGA country"

Well said...but not applicable without proper context. My take is that the "extremists" on the conservative side make up roughly 10-20% of the base. On the Democratic side of the aisle, my rough guess is that roughly 30-40% of the base would now be considered liberal progressives (extremists) ...and that number seems to be growing. Social media platforms, with the MSM as an echo chamber, are the main drivers imho. The Democrats are veering farther to the left than at any point in my lifetime, and at an accelerated rate no less. The fact that this paradigm shift has become acceptable is what, at least to me, is what is really scary.
