What is a TV lamp?

No idea. When I bought it, the lady said it sat on top of her parent’s TV. When I looked it up later, the one on eBay even called it a “tv lamp”. It is a lamp, there is a bulb in the center of it.

IMO, the coolest thing I bought this weekend was the wool trench coat. It is made by Lodenfrey, a company that’s been around since 1850, and is still in business now. Their new jackets go for $800+.
I don’t know the age on this one. I think it maybe an Eastern Block military coat. This thing looks brand new, but I believe it’s from the 60’s, because of the buttons. They are leather covered buttons.

It’s a redhead in the black hand, an artist’s rendition of Michael Corleone’s wife. “Don’t ask me about my business, Kay!”

What makes the sewing machine worth that amount of money?

Silly me, I've been using a sewing machine (a series of machines) for over fifty years. Lightweight machines are a pain and nobody wants to sew with them.
Who knew that such machines were collectibles?

We learn something every day or so. And logic isn't always real.

Not a fan of the style, but a 10x hat at that price was a steal

The glass set definitely has a 1960s look to them

Man you could have gotten more for that berrylium copper eye 2 lob wedge. Those are impossible to find in the wild now. Cheapest one on eBay right now is $150.

Is that a real Steiff or just a knock off? Most are knock offs. I know this from religiously watching antiques roadshow

My parents had a black panther TV lamp. The panther had a cut out on the back where the bulb went. It was used for low lighting and sat upon the old box type TV's.
I have been looking for one for years. If you ever see one, please buy it for me!

I had the same lamp growing up. I'd turn it backwards for more light so I could read my comic books.
Saw one a few years ago in an antique store but it had a chip in it.

I think if it was military it would have shoulder straps for attaching rank pins or epaulettes.

The club ranges from $50 to $250 each. I cannot tell the difference except the pat number. The pat number on mine is the same as the ones that sell for around $70 each.

The Steiff is real, but not an old one. This one is from the 80’s (Made in Western Germany). It’s only worth about $40 or so.

At least a few of those objects are haunted. Have you noticed any loud bangs or misplaced items recently?

Speaking of haunted things, I had to run to the box store today on Coursey, and there is a Goodwill next door, so I ran in. They were putting these out as I was walking in. One of my main rules is to buy something you never see if it’s cheap enough.

These were $5 each, from the 30’s-50’s probably.
