Jeez I hadn't seen that article when I made the thread.
This judge sounds like a grade-A cocksucker

Mayr also confirmed Tuesday that Houston attorney James Stafford had emailed Milliron, asking the judge to apologize to the county staffer. But in response to the email, Milliron ordered Stafford to appear in his courtroom next month.
According to Mayr, Milliron accused Stafford of ex parte communication — a one-sided communication between a judge and only one party of a legal proceeding.
“You probably shouldn't be communicating with a Judge, ex parte, on his judicial e-mail address,” Milliron wrote via email. “As an officer of this Court, you are ORDERED to appear before this Court on April 10, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. to discuss further.”
Stafford told Milliron he had no cases in the judge’s court and was just expressing his opinion as a voter.

That won’t go well for him.

As an IT guy there is nothing worse than getting called to a conference room to deal with audio/video shite with a bunch of people already in there. Presenter is already pissed, while the rest of the people in there want to tell you how to fix it despite the fact that they all messed it up even worse before you got called.
My favorite add on to this story is when now you have an audience and the audience is telling you how to fix it, even though you know what they are telling you is wrong.

He is getting the business on his facebook page...

Judge obviously looks like a prick, but the “find his supervisor” line at the end is what really puts this over the top IMO. Like.. it’s one thing to be an a-hole, but come the frick on.

dang, he won his election by 300 votes with almost 1.5million votes cast for the two candidates.

This won't be published anywhere but you can take my word for it
nathan was looking to become a democrat for this election because Republicans are mean to gay people

Judge looks like he received swirlies most of his life. Frick that prick

Judge was obviously an a-hole. But the IT guy was also being an a-hole (although he was doing it in a less serious manner because he was basically making fun of the judge).
Why can’t we say frick them both?

Judge felt self conscious about it and lashed out. Shame on him. I imagine he likely doesn’t treat attorneys who practice before him any better.
agreed. The IT guy was being genuine and trying to lighten the tension of the situation. the judge deserves all the backlash he receives online, completely unprofessional.
eta: if I’m an IT staffer of that particular courtroom, I’m really really tempted to frick with the IT equipment ahead of the judges next scheduled case. Just to watch his head explode.

The amount of stuff coming out on this dude with barely a year under his belt is impressive. This is my personal favorite

Can someone find another locker for this elitist prick

Imagine clerking for that dickhole

There are other emails like that surfacing. With the amount of complaints I imagine are pouring in, he may actually be in trouble.

Give the Harris County Republican Party had any sense they'd actually demand his resignation because the Democrats are going to use this against them in November and he has no chance anyway
Plus all the judicial candidates are well aware that he looked into jumping parties less than a year ago

Judge is a douchebag prick. A douchebag prick with a lot of power. Not a good combo. Hope he gets removed ASAP.

Judges are sometimes really bad with technology.
There are still US Circuit and US District (senior lifetime Article 3) judges that are essentially baffled at anything beyond email. They are incredibly smart people, and have keen legal minds. Tech does not always fit that kind of brain, and they often have always had a clerk / wife / kid do the heavy tech lifting over the last 25 years. They are not going to learn tech at this late date in their judgeship.
Legal people that are over 60-65ish today are the last group that will be able to work in that field without knowing more than how to email or Westlaw.
(well...except for maybe Samuel T. Cogley...lol)
