I’m obviously not an attorney, but this was a jury trial, and the jury found the defendant not guilty of the charges. How is it legal for a judge to meet with the jury post-verdict and coerce them into changing their decision? Am I taking crazy pills?

I don't think it's a "mishap"; I think she's doing it deliberately.

You aren’t crazy. It actually says in the Bill of Rights that you can’t do it. They even had a movie about it with Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones called Double Jeopardy.
