Isn't this the guy that PeeJ is such a fan of?
I also get this guy confused with the douchebag that does the Scooby-Doo voice, Scott Innes.
Are they related?

We can only hope this is true. This dude is an abortion to sports talk.

I liked Charlies knowledge of sports history, esp baseball
Charlie does baseball well, but really sucks at basketball. Tried listening to him over a summer when it was a big free agency year, and he really bs-ed his rockets talk, didn't realize he put such little thought into basketball . Just seemed like he felt too smart to think anymore than at-glance thoughts.
Houston is a football/baseball town though.

He could get pretty bad outside of his comfort zone of baseball trivia.
He would always complain about how there's nothing to talk about after the World Series because there was nothing going on. I was like, umm, how many FBS schools do we have in Texas, and you can't think of any interesting college football talk?

Josh's show sucks hard. I'm not sure I've ever heard him talk actual sports. He sang show tunes for about 45 minutes one day, dildos the next, and then compared Houston Texans fans to Philly fans and how we should be more like them. The only thing I found funny about his show was a he gets troll callers about once a day.
Has Lance Z even mentioned his name on the station once?

Trolling or not, his ratings have gone down since he started. It was over when he decided he'd put his balls on the table about Ewing better than Hakeem.

How does Josh Innes keep getting jobs in the big markets? I know all about his dad and all but at some point that shite dries up and you have to actually bring something to the table. I listened to Josh when he was here and I just don't get it. He is no better than maybe one notch above Buddy Songy.

Innes is like a lot of guys that are Stern disciples, they try to copy the Stern format but they don't have Howard's likability
Stern's genuinely likable personality is the backbone of the Stern show. Innes and so many others just come across as assholes trying to copy him.
Stern uses his insecurity as fuel for his comedy, innes uses his insecurity as a weapon to lash out at callers, competitors, management etc

Charlie was a dick to callers I never understood that.
Well, Charlie would get aggravated when someone would call in with "I'm thinking the Astros could offer Preston Tucker and Jason Castro for Mike Trout...". Hell, I'd get aggravated with that too. He supported the local teams but wasn't a homer. I liked that.

I actually like the rapor between Lance and MAtt. It's nowhere near the level of John and Lance back in the day but those two are entertaining together.
