He lived on Garden Lane, which is off Metairie Rd in Orleans Parish.

The haunted house is the one for sale.

Also Trent Reznor’s old house
and for those of you bashing him, he’s a big LSU fan and likely a signifigant donor.

Probably selling it for this crappy road next to their house.

Beautiful home. Bet living in Garden District would be very fun.

He’s supposedly worth between 30 and 40 million. A lot of people depending on where the property is located self insure and don’t have insurance. My mom’s cousin is worth 20 million or so and he lives in Winter Park Florida and does not have insurance on his home. Says he will just rebuild if it’s destroyed.

He hasn’t lived there in over 20 years.. before he moved, i had a rotation of coffee shops at the end of Metairie Rd id hit up on the way to work- PJ’s, CC’s and Royal Blend (i think ?).. and he must have had the same rotation b/c id often see him at a couple of the coffee shops.. tooled around in a mid 90s model Impala SS.. fast forward to a year or two ago, met him at my cousin’s wedding and he’s now about 1/3rd the size he used to be .

Guy is an a-hole. Yes, I’ve met him.
I met him when he was filming a movie in LP and my impression was the exact opposite. I don't think either of our single interactions can be used to define the man.

We stood next to him for Endymion years ago and he was cool w/ everyone around us.

$5M for .29 acres
Yeah. His house is priced at $1,100 a square foot. Even for uptown, that is a tad high .. usually nicer homes in that area are in the $600-$700 per square foot range. Plus, although nice, the house itself is a tad dated. I think this stays on the market a while.

It isn’t 1993 anymore. Goodman lost weight.

Any house priced that high usually takes years to sell in the Nola market. If you want a large historic multi million dollar house, you have choices and time.

I hunted with his group a couple times in Hackberry back when his nephew was still alive. I had nothing but great interactions with him and his group. He wouldn’t know me from Adam now but he was awesome to spend time with 20 years ago.
I don't know him personally, but met him years ago prior to an LSU game....Seemed like a regular guy and was funny as hell. I remember he was having a great time and wearing a LOT of Mardi Gras beads.

That’s weird, you would think he needs a place to live?
